The app is designed for veterans, first responders, supportive family members, and community volunteers who want an organized place to prepare an everyday conversation, translate experience into general language, build a transition checklist, or choose a service-oriented next step.
Its forged-metal metaphor is deliberate: a useful object is shaped through attention and repetition. App progress means only that a user completed a chosen activity. It never measures health, safety, diagnosis, readiness, employment eligibility, benefits, or recovery.
Important boundary: Forge Forward Companion is educational and organizational. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, monitor, or predict any medical or mental-health condition. It is not therapy, screening, medical care, case management, tactical training, provider matching, or emergency response.
